About the Author

Todd F. Mozer is President, CEO, and Chairman of Sensory, Inc., a leading supplier of speech technologies for consumer electronics applications. Mr. Mozer founded Sensory in 1994 and has successfully raised venture capital to fund its growth to profitability. At Sensory, he has been involved in both corporate and productline acquisitions, and has worked on incorporating speech recognition into the products of companies such as Sony, Toshiba, JVC, Mattel, Hasbro, Uniden, Sega, and many of the leaders in consumer electronics. Mr. Mozer has spent over 25 years in the fields of speech and user interface technologies, and has worked in Silicon Valley high tech companies in positions of sales, marketing, product development and general management. Prior to forming Sensory, Mr. Mozer was involved in the formation and management of several high tech IC and software companies that either went public or were sold to large international corporations. Mr. Mozer has received or applied for over a dozen patents in the area of speech technology, and he has invested in and sat on the boards of numerous high tech companies. Mr. Mozer received a BA in Business Economics and a BA in Psychology, Phi Beta Kappa, from UC Santa Barbara and has an MBA from Stanford University.
